Abstract
Porastom populacije te ekonomskim i gospodarskim napretkom i razvojem društva ubrzano se povećava i količina komunalnog otpada što predstavlja jedan od najvećih problema današnjice.Općenito, otpad se bitno razlikuje od smeća a podrazumijeva svu otpadnu sirovinu i materijal koji se mogu ponovno iskoristiti procesima obrade i oporabe u svrhu zaštite i očuvanja zdravlja ljudi i okoliša. Otpad kao takav odlaže se na odlagališta gdje se trajno odlaže kao organizirana komunalna djelatnost. U radu će se detaljno razraditi problematika otpada i njegovog odlaganja a dat će se i osvrt na sam rad i gospodarenje otpadom na području Šibensko- kninske županije.
Abstract (english)
With the growth of the population with economic and economic progress and the development of society, the amount of municipal waste is rapidly increasing, which is today,one of the biggest problems. In general, waste is significantly different from garbage and includes all waste raw materials and materials that can be reused in the treatment and recoveryprocess to protect and preserve human health and the environment. Waste as such is disposed of in and fills where it is permanently disposed of as an organized communal activity. The paper will elaborate on the issue of waste and it' s disposal, and will give an overview of the work and waste management in the Šibenik-Knin County.
