In modern life, money is good which facilitates and simplifies life. In this final paper explained are terms money, monetary politic, inflation, deflation, and the special accent is given on HNB, central bank of Republic Croatia. The primary objective of the Croatian National Bank as the central bank in the country is the support of the general economic policy of the government and the stability of the financial system. In order to achieve the afore mentioned, the Croatian National Bank establishes and implements monetary policy, controls bank operations and carries all the attributes of the central bank as established in the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia. The state in Republic of Croatia isnot ideal, what means that it is necesarry constantly invest efforts to improve that state. Conclusion is that Republic of Croatia will be, in the future, exposed at new challenges and problems, but if croatian monetary politic would be strong, every problems will be solved.
