Abstract
Turizam predstavlja skup odnosa i pojava koje proizlaze iz boravka turista u mjestu izvan njihova uobičajenog mjesta boravka, a da pri tom ne ostvaruju nikakvu ekonomsku dobit. Kako se razvijao od nastanka pa sve do danas, turizam je postao globalni fenomen i vodeća svjetska industrija. Putovanja su dostupna svima bez obzira na platežnu moć. Ne putuje se više samo u ljetnoj ili zimskoj sezoni već se putuje tijekom cijele godine i to zbog različitih turističkih ponuda i motiva.Posredstvom globalizacije i promjenom trendova u načinu života mijenja se turistička potražnja te dolazi do razvoja selektivnih oblika turizma. Kulturni turizam je poseban oblik turizma koji obuhvaća turistička putovanja motivirana upoznavanjem drugih kultura, kulturnih atrakcija, spomenika, obilaskom galerija i muzeja ili pak odlaskom na koncerte. Ovaj završni rad obuhvaća pojmove turizma, turističke destinacije, selektivnog turizma te kulturnog turizma. Cilj rada je ustanoviti koliko kulturna turistička ponuda utječe na potražnju za gradom Šibenikom kao turističkom destinacijom.
Abstract (english)
Tourism is a set of relationships and phenomena that have arisen from a tourist's stay at a place outside all usual places of residence without generating any economic profit. As it has evolved from its inception to the present day, tourism has become a global phenomenon and a leading global industry. Travels are accessible to everyone regardless of payment power. People don't travel anymore only in the summer or winter season but the whole year due to different tourist offers and motives. Globalization and changing lifestyle trends are changing tourism demand and developing selective forms of tourism. Among them is cultural tourism. Cultural tourism is a special form of tourism that includes tourist trips motivated by getting to know other cultures, cultural attractions, monuments, visiting galleries and museums or going to concerts. This paper implicates terms of tourism, tourist destinations, selective tourism and cultural tourism. The aim of this paper is to establish how much cultural tourism supply influences the demand for the city of Šibenik as a tourist destination.
