Abstract
U radu se prikazuje uloga i značaj imovine u poduzeću te se koncept imovine povezuje s kapacitetom, odnosno analizira se razina angažiranosti imovine u generiranju maksimalne količine outputa. Imovina je ključan preduvjet za generiranje učinka poduzeća te je cilj svakog poduzeća što više približiti razinu stvorenih učinaka maksimalnom kapacitetu poduzeća , to jest postići maksimalnu učinkovitost. Kako bi se pratio stupanj angažiranosti imovine u generiranju učinaka, koristi se pokazatelj stupnja iskorištenosti kapaciteta. Cilj rada je prikazati značajke imovine i kapaciteta poduzeća, prikazati ih kao samostalne pojmove, te način na koji djeluje odnos imovine kao resursa, i učinaka kao količine proizvoda i usluga koje poduzeće potencijalno može generirati (kapacitet). Rezultati istraživanja dobiveni komparativnom analizom dvaju hotelskih poduzeća ukazuju na potkapacitiranost uslijed sezonalnosti i, posljedično, relativno visok udio fiksnih troškova u cijeni usluga u hotelijerstvu.
Abstract (english)
The paper presents the role and importance of assets in an enterprise and relates the concept of assets to the concept of capacity, that is, the involvement of assets in generating the maximum amount of output. Assets are a key prerequisite for generating business impact and the goal of each business is to approximate the level of generated effects to the capacity of the company, i.e. to maximize efficiency. In order to monitor the degree of engagement of assets in generating effects, the capacity utilization rate is used. The aim of this paper is to present the characteristics of assets and capacity of an enterprise with the aim of linking assets as a resource with effects, that is, the amount of products and services that an enterprise can potentially generate (capacity). The results of the comparative analysis of the two hotel companies indicate that they are under-capacitated due to seasonality and, consequently, there is a relatively high proportion of fixed costs in the price of hotel services.
