Abstract
Komunalno gospodarstvo je zajednički pojam za djelatnosti koje su propisane zakonom da se obavljaju kao komunalne djelatnosti. Pojavom prvih naselja dolazi i do pojave komunalnih djelatnosti, a razvitkom naselja dolazi i do pojave novih komunalnih djelatnosti i razvitka organizacijskih oblika djelatnosti. Obavljanje komunalnih djelatnosti povjereno je na obavljanje jedinicama lokalne samouprave, upravo zato jer su oni u neposrednom kontaktu sa stanovništvom te najbolje poznaju potrebe istih. Grad Zadar komunalnu problematiku rješava osnivanjem trgovačkih društava te putem koncesija i Ugovora o povjeravanju obavljanja komunalnih djelatnosti. Pokušava iznaći nove načine kako bi se komunalne djelatnosti obavljale kontinuirano uz što veću efiksnost i manje troškove, a sve sa ciljem zadovoljavanja potrebe svojih građana.
Abstract (english)
Communal economy is a common term for activities which are determined by law to be done as communal activities. Appereance of first settlements affects on appeearance of communal activities, and development of the settlement result with the appearance of new communal activities and development of organizational forms of activity. Perfomance of communal activities is entrusted to local self-government units because of their direct contact with population, and know their needs best. The City of Zadar is resolving communal issues by establishing trading compnies, by concessions and by Contract of entrusting the perfomance of communal activities. Also is trying to find new ways of performing communal activities with higher efficiency and lower costs, all with goal of satisfying needs of their citiziens.
