Abstract
Socijalna skrb je organizirana djelatnost od javnog interesa Republike Hrvatske čiji je cilj pružanje pomoći socijalno ugroženim osobama, osobama u nepovoljnim osobnim ili obiteljskim okolnostima. Udomiteljstvo je vrsta socijalne pomoći u obliku smještaja korisnika u udomiteljsku obitelj koji svoje primarne potrebe ne mogu zadovoljiti u vlastitom domu niti uz pomoć članova vlastite obitelji. Uslugu smještaja korisniku omogućuje udomitelj koji je upisan u Registar udomitelja. Zadaća udomitelja je pružanje smještajai prehrane koriniku, čuvanje i odgoj korisnika, briga o zdravlju i obrazovanju, te zadovoljavanje drugih specifičnih životnih potreba korisnika.
