Abstract
U završnom radu definirani su osnovni pojmovi robno-distribucijskog centra poput prometne mreže, koridora, čvorišta i terminala te njegove glavne značajke i funkcije koje se mogu podijeliti u grupe ovisno o njihovoj složenosti i važnosti. Glavne aktivnosti odnose se na prijevoz, prekrcaj i skladištenje robe. Primjer rada jednog robno-distribucijskog centra, njegova struktura, asortiman robe, prekrcajna mehanizacija te komisioniranje tj. ručno selektiranje i stavljanje proizvoda na palete koji će biti dostavljeni u trgovine prikazan je na robno-distribucijskom centru ALDI.
Abstract (english)
The final paper defines the basic concepts of the distribution centers, such as the transport networks, corridors, junction points, and terminals, as well as their main features and functions, which can be divided into five groups depending on their complexity and importance. The first and primary function of a distribution center includes the transportation, handling, and storage of goods. Logistics and distribution center ALDI will be taken as an example to show how such centers function – from the first step of starting the business to the structure of such business, assortment and one of the most important operations within the warehouse: picking, i.e. manual selection, and packaging products on pallets which are then sent to the stores.
