Abstract
Informacijska tehnologija i njezina primjena postaje sve značajnijim elementom u postizanju konkurentnosti i efikasnog poslovanja hotela. Hotelska prodaja je jedna od najznačajnijih poslovnih funkcija, jer su pravovremene informacije o stanju prodaje smještajnih kapaciteta osnova za donošenje ključnih odluka za buduće cjelokupno poslovanje hotela. Jedan od osnovnih ciljeva informatizacije hotelske prodaje je povećanje iskorištenosti smještajnih kapaciteta. Osim informatizacije hotelske prodaje, danas se sve više informacijska tehnologija implementira u cjelokupni hotel, od administracije, marketinga, prodaje proizvoda i usluga, pa sve do informatizacije cijele smještajne jedinice. Poslovanje postaje uspješno upotrebom korisničkih informacijskih sustava.
Abstract (english)
Information technology and its application becomes an increasingly important element in achieving the competitiveness and efficiency of the hotel. Hotel sales are one of the most important business functions because timely information on the state of sale of accommodation capacities is the basis for making key decisions for the future entire hotel business. One of the basic goals of computerization of hotel sales is the increase in the utilization of accommodation capacities. Apart from the computerization of hotel sales, today's increasingly information technology is implemented in the entire hotel, from administration, marketing, sales of products and services to the computerization of the entire accommodation unit. Businesses become successful using the user information systems.
