Abstract
Selektivni oblici turizma danas postaju temelj za razvoj turizma određenih turističkih destinacija. Jedan od popularnijih selektivnih oblika turizma jest i kulturni turizam koji svoj rast i razvoj temelji na ponudi različitih kulturnih resursa. Cilj ovog rada je istražiti i opisati način na koji je grad Šibenik razvio turizam u posljednjih nekoliko godina te ukazati na značaj iskorištavanja postojećih kulturno-povijesni resursa i njihove valorizacije u cilju poboljšanja turističke ponude grada.
Abstract (english)
Selective forms of tourism are now becoming increasingly popular for certain tourist destinations. One of the most modern selective forms of tourism and cultural tourism is that its growth and development is based on the offer of cultural activities and cultural tourists. The aim of this paper is to explore and describe the way the city of Šibenik has developed tourism over the last few years and how it exploiting existing cultural and historical resources and their valorization whose purpose is to improve the tourist offer of the city.
