Abstract
Ovaj rad je posvećen definiranju marketinške promocije kao neizostavnog alata pomoću kojeg se uspješno i efikasno promoviraju proizvodi, usluge, ali i manifestacije od kojih će MeĊunarodni djeĉji festival, koji se odrţava svake godine u gradu Šibeniku, biti posebno naglašen. U poglavljima rada obraĊena su podruĉja koja se odnose na marketing kao općeniti pojam, zatim na manifestacijski turizam koji je kljuĉan kako bi se stvorila poveznica s marketingom koji zajedno ĉine cjelinu kako bi se na što atraktivniji naĉin promovirala odreĊena manifestacija uz osvrt na razliĉite naĉine i oblike promocije manifestacije te naposljetku se navode aktivnosti i zanimljivosti MeĊunarodnog djeĉjeg festivala u Šibeniku kroz povijest i to kao najvećeg i najpoznatijeg festivala u Šibensko – kninskoj ţupaniji.
Abstract (english)
This final paper is dedicated to defining marketing advertisement as an indispensable tool which is being used for successful and effective advertising of products, services and events from which International Children’s Festival, that takes place in the city of Šibenik, Croatia every year, will be especially emphasized. In the following chapters, areas considering marketing as a concept, event tourism as a key element for relation with marketing including the most attractive way to promote an event with emphasis on different forms of advertisement are being discussed. The final chapter is about International Children’s Festival and its activities throughout history as the biggest festival in Šibenik – Knin County.
