Abstract
Mnoge države uvrštavaju očuvanje prirode u prioritete, uviđajući da je priroda iznimno važno sredstvo za društveni i ekonomski razvoj regija, odnosno država u cjelini. Razlog uvrštavanja u prioritete jest uvažavanje zaštićenih područja jer su vrlo važan instrument za očuvanje osjetljivih ekoloških sustava i biološke raznolikosti. Zaštićena područja uvelike doprinose socio-ekonomskom razvoju država. Izdvajanje određenih dijelova krajobraza za potrebe zaštite prirode i kvalitetno upravljanje područjima zadaća je država za osiguranje kvalitetnije budućnosti. S obzirom da se o fenomenu masovnog turizma govori unazad šezdesetak godina, a nekvalitetno upravljanje turističkim potencijalima može imati dugoročne posljedice po okoliš, sinergija dionika u zajednici koji se odgovorno ponašaju prema sebi i okolišu koji ih okružuje postaje njihova obaveza.
Abstract (english)
Many countries around the world have considered nature conservation among its priorities, recognizing that nature is an extremely important tool for social and economic development of the region or the country as a whole. That is a result of understanding that protected areas are very important instruments for preserving delicate ecosystems and biodiversity and they contribute to the socio-economic development. For this reason, quality management of protected areas becomes the task of the countries and also an obligation to ensure a better future for generations to come. Keeping in mind that mass tourism became interesting sixty years ago and on the other hand poor quality management of touristic potential can have longterm conequences for the environment, synergy of stakeholders in the community, their responsible behavior towards each other and the environment that surrounds them is necessary .
