Abstract
Industrija slobodnog vremena i ugostiteljstva jedna je od pokretačkih snaga globalnog gospodarstva. Rašireno usvajanje novih tehnologija u ugostiteljskoj djelatnosti tijekom posljednjih godina iz temelja je preoblikovalo način na koji se usluge pružaju i primaju. U ovom radu se istražuju neke od najsuvremenijih tehnologija koje se trenutno koriste u ugostiteljskoj industriji kao i način na koji one poboljšavaju iskustva gostiju i mijenjaju platformu ugostiteljskih usluga. Također se predviđaju neke potencijalne buduće ugostiteljske usluge koje se mogu očekivati kako tehnologija interneta stvari (IoT) neprestano raste i razvija se. Također se uviđa potreba da je tehnološku okosnicu mnogih ugostiteljskih objekata potrebno revidirati kako bi se olakšalo promjenjivo tehnološko okruženje u modernom svijetu. Raspravlja se i o nekim temeljnim izazovima koje je potrebno prevladati kako bi se uspostavilo trajno rješenje za ugostiteljsku djelatnost koje je spremno na budućnost te se autor kratko dotiče problema koje ovi izazovi postavljaju za goste i pružatelje ugostiteljskih usluga.
Abstract (english)
One of the economic engines of the world is the leisure and hospitality sector. The hospitality business has recently undergone a major transformation as a result of the increasing use of new technology. This essay examines some of the state-of-the-art technologies now employed in the hospitality sector and examines how they are enhancing visitor experiences and altering the delivery model for hospitality services. Additionally, it foresees a few prospective hospitality services that could emerge as Internet of Things (IoT) technology develops and advances. It is also acknowledged that many hospitality facilities' technology foundations need to be updated in order to accommodate the modern world's evolving technological landscape. It also analyzes certain fundamental obstacles that must be removed in order to create a long-term answer for the hospitality industry that is prepared for the future, and the author briefly mentions the issues that these obstacles provide for clients and hospitality service providers.
