Abstract
Temeljne funkcije menadžmenta kao što su planiranje i organiziranje pred menadžment postavljaju puno rada i odgovornosti za daljnji uspjeh poduzeća. U današnjim turbulentnim vremenima, planiranje predstavlja kontinuiran proces koji se modificira prema promjenama na tržištu. Bez konkretnih planova koji uključuju misiju, viziju, ciljeve, dobru analizu poduzeća i okoline te postavljanje strategije nije moguće ostvariti uspjeh. Općenito govoreći, planiranje je proces kojim se utvrđuju ciljevi i aktivnosti koje poduzeće želi ostvariti u budućnosti. Nakon što su određeni ciljevi koje treba dostići te izabrane adekvatne strategije za njihovo postizanje, sljedeći korak je oblikovanje efikasne organizacije kao alata za ostvarenje tih ciljeva. To uključuje postavljanje organizacijske strukture i raspoređivanje zaposlenika na odgovarajuća radna mjesta. Efikasno i efektivno izvršavanje ovih menadžerskih funkcija ključno je za rast, razvoj i opstanak hotelskog poduzeća u uvjetima turbulentnog turističkog tržišta. Cilj ovog završnog rada je na primjeru hotelskog poduzeća Ilirija d.d. prikazati način planiranja i organiziranja.
Abstract (english)
The main management functions such as planning and organization demand lots of work and responsibility for manager in order to achieve success. In today's unstable times, planning implies continuous process that is modified according to the changes in the market. Without exact plans that include mission, vision, goal setting, good enterprise and environmental analysis and setting up a business strategy, success is not achievable. Generally speaking, planning is the process of determining the goals and activities that a company wants to achieve in the future. After goal setting and selecting an appropriate strategy for their achieving, the next step is forming an efficient organization as a tool for achieving those goals. That requires setting up an organizational structure and assigning employees to appropriate jobs. Efficient and effective execution of these managerial functions is crucial for the growth, development and survival of a hotel business in a turbulent tourism market. The aim of this undergraduate thesis is to show the way of planning and organizing on the example of the hotel company Ilirija d.d.
